Michigan Collegiate was established in 1999 as a Public School Academy chartered by Ferris State University. Our goal is to provide a quality education to students as well as instruction in character development. We had our first graduating class in June 2006. As a public school of choice, we accept children from throughout the geographic region. The elementary school is located in Roseville, Michigan. Our middle school and high school are located in Warren, Michigan.

Michigan Collegiate will be recognized as having an exemplary public school academy board. This will be evidenced by: Michigan Collegiate Board of Directors will be the standard by which other charter school boards are measured. Michigan Collegiate will provide technology that is not older than 5 years old. All Michigan Collegiate students who take the NWEA-MAP Assessment will show one year’s growth from Fall to Spring testing. Michigan Collegiate Board of Directors will promote retention among students through graduation.

In Michigan, charters are granted through state universities, junior colleges, intermediate, or local school boards. Conner Creek Academy East received its charter from in 1999 from Ferris State University, located in Big Rapids, Michigan.
